Jeremiah’s Revolving Orchestra
What is a revolving orchestra, you might ask? Exactly what it sounds like. Pulling in a rotating cast of talented local musicians, the band’s namesake Jeremiah Brown puts on a one-of-a-kind show with each and every performance. A musician, DJ, event producer, festival organizer, and yoga instructor, Jeremiah is one of those individuals who has his hands (and feet) in a lot of different things — and more than that, he pours his heart into them.
Old Habits
Old Habits got their start back in 2003 when Craig Thompson, Lin Peterson, Bennett Thompson, and Brian English got together to pick a little bluegrass. Over the years the band gained momentum, recorded their first self-titled album at The Rubberroom in Chapel Hill in 2007, and eventually evolved from old-school bluegrass to their current sound — a mixture of Americana, Country, and Southern Roots music. Evans Nicholson joined the group on drums in 2010.
Adam Church
Country music the Carolina way. Growing up around Boone, NC, in the Appalachian Mountains, Adam Church is no stranger to the music scene. Adam was first introduced to fellow App State Mountaineer Eric Church’s music 20 years ago and has never looked back. His dream started the night Eric Church played at Legends in Boone for the ‘Carolina’ album release party. Adam also met longtime friend Luke Combs at Appalachian State, where they both started playing as a duo around the Boone area.
