Between them, Terry Edwards and Bob Kogut have over 100 years of experience performing what has come to be called Americana Music. Drawing from their vast repertoire of mountain roots, folk, country, and pop music — both original and cover — they have developed quite an audience in Western NC.
Currently residing in Boone, NC, Will Easter was born and raised in the Sauratown Mountain range of northwestern NC. Growing up in a musical family, he inherited a deep love of nature and music from an early age. Though he started writing and performing his own songs, he discovered his true calling as a songwriter. Will’s music refuses to fit neatly into any genre — ranging from rollicking dance tunes to gospel-tinged mountain songs to emotionally raw Americana ballads. He is greatly influenced by BJ Barham and Doc Watson, both of whom have ties to the region he calls home.
Angela Easterling is an Americana singer-songwriter based on her family’s South Carolina farm — land that has been in her family since 1791. A four-time Kerrville New Folk Finalist and Telluride Troubadour, her 6th album ‘Witness’ (2022) was named Album of the Year by The Greenville Journal and selected by American Songwriter as one of the Top 24 Albums of the Year. Buddy Miller calls her ‘a shining example of what Americana music is.’
Bear Creek String Bandits are a vocally-driven, free-range mountain music band with bluegrass roots, country heart, and honkytonk wings.
