Growing up in a musical family, he inherited a deep love of nature and music from an early age. Though he started writing and performing his own songs, he discovered his true calling as a songwriter. Will's music refuses to fit neatly into any genre — ranging from rollicking dance tunes to gospel-tinged mountain songs to emotionally raw Americana ballads. He is greatly influenced by BJ Barham and Doc Watson, both of whom have ties to the region he calls home.
