The Page Brothers return to the Appalachian Theatre to celebrate jazz pioneer Django Reinhardt!
Born this week 115 years ago, Reinhardt is widely recognized as one of the world’s greatest guitarists. Alongside violinist Stephane Grappelli, he helped create an intoxicating style known as jazz manouche by blending American jazz with elements from his Romani heritage. The program will feature staples of the genre, as well as unique arrangements of bebop and modern jazz tunes performed in Django’s inimitable style.
