Deconstructing The Dark Side of the Moon
Commemorating the original release date, March 1, 1973, when Pink Floyd released their masterpiece, Dark Side of the Moon, a concept album that explores themes of life, death, and insanity. The album features nine tracks that seamlessly flow into each other, creating a cohesive and immersive listening experience. Musically, the album pushed the boundaries of rock music, incorporating elements of jazz, classical, and experimental music. The use of innovative studio techniques, such as the incorporation of spoken word samples and sound effects, further added to the album’s sonic depth and complexity. In Deconstructing The Dark Side of the Moon, Freiman tells the story of Dark Side – from its development on the road, to the recording sessions at EMI Studios, to the release and subsequent tour. As in all Freiman’s presentations, you can expect a fun mix of storytelling with rare audio, video, and photos. Approx. Runtime: 120min / Not Rated
